We offer a wide range of training programmes for adult learners to enhance their employability, and partner the industry closely in workforce development.

Reporting to the Manager or equivalent, the Finance role is part of the PACE Finance team focused on executing finance and accounting operations in PACE Academy.

[What you will be working on]

Responsibilities:-

Budget and Grant Management

  • Coordinate budget preparation, forecasting and budget review exercises.
  • Monitor budget utilisation, grant balances and funding availability.
  • Process grant claims, disbursements, journals and related financial transactions.
  • Monitor purchase commitments and budget utilisation.

Financial Reporting and Reconciliation

  • Prepare financial reports, dashboards and supporting analyses.
  • Assist in variance analysis and management reporting.
  • Perform grant reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
  • Support year-end closing, accruals and financial reporting activities.

Compliance, Audit and Stakeholder Support

  • Support compliance with grant conditions, SP policies and financial regulations.
  • Maintain audit trails and supporting documentation.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Liaise with stakeholders on budget, funding and grant-related matters
  • Support process improvement initiatives.

[What we are looking for]

Requirements:-

  • Preferably 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in budgeting, grant management, finance operations, management reporting or financial analysis
  • Experience in grant administration, public sector funding, education institutions or government-funded programmes is preferred
  • Experience in audit, compliance or financial governance will be advantageous
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
  • Knowledge of grant administration and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in advance Microsoft Excel and financial systems such as Workday
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Meticulous, organized and able to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, balancing multiple grants, budgets, reporting requirements and ad hoc requests concurrently
  • Strong ability to adapt to changing business needs, funding requirements and operational priorities

Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
