Senior Executive - Environmental Sustainability

(To be based at Battaramulla)

Key Responsibilities

• Report on the ES KPIs for the group by coordinating with the Divisions, visiting plants, analyzing and evaluating group environmental performance monthly.
• Engage/ handle strategic sustainable projects such as Biomass Conversion/ Solar power Conversion etc. and assess the adequate performance of same.
• Support the work carried out by the workstream and management of the long-term initiatives by the workstream.
• Integrate foreign facilities to the same Eco System
• Share required data and analytics for presentations.
• Support the implementation of ISO 14064 audit for the entire group
• Participate in all initiative workstream meetings and maintain documentation of decisions.
• Establish key working relationships with the Lean, Innovation and Automation teams in order to ensure the Sustainability team embraces a culture of lean thinking and behavior in line with MOS guidelines.
• Support the foreign facilities of MAS to Integrate into the Environmental Sustainability Strategy to achieve continuous improvement.
• Participate at the group level Environmental Steering Committee meeting on a monthly basis, encourage knowledge-sharing, agree on action points and conduct timely follow-ups on the completion of approved projects
  

Qualifications, Experience, Skill, and Competencies:

• Degree in Environmental Studies/Environmental Economics/Engineering or other relevant degrees
• 1-2 years of industry-specific work experience
