Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. MIS & Data Management (Core Execution)

  • Maintain centralized CSR MIS across programs, geographies, and partners
  • Track and update project-wise data including:
    • Budgets and fund utilization
    • Beneficiary reach and outputs
    • KPI and outcome progress
  • Manage structured trackers (project tracker, volunteering MIS, partner reporting tracker) with:
  • Ensure timely data collection from internal teams and NGO partners

2. CSR Reporting & Dashboards

  • Prepare monthly / quarterly / annual CSR dashboards
  • Track key metrics such as:
    • Volunteering participation and hours
    • Project progress vs targets
    • Budget vs actual utilization
  • Support leadership reporting by providing data-backed insights and trend analysis
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy across all reporting outputs

3. Audit Readiness & Documentation (Critical Responsibility)

  • Maintain centralized, audit-ready repository of:
    • Due diligence documents
    • NGO reports and utilization certificates
    • Approval emails and governance artefacts
  • Ensure:
    • Timestamped documentation is available
    • Supporting evidence is aligned with reported data
  • Track missing artefacts and follow up for closure within timelines

4. Compliance & Governance Tracking

  • Maintain trackers for:
    • Due diligence (initial and ongoing)
    • Reporting timelines (quarterly / half-yearly)
    • Contract and milestone tracking
  • Identify gaps in documentation, reporting, and compliance
  • Support closure of audit observations and ensure follow-through

5. Stakeholder Coordination

  • Coordinate with:
    • CSR program leads (for project data and updates)
    • Finance (for fund utilization and reconciliation)
    • NGO partners (for reporting and documentation)
  • Follow up proactively to ensure data completeness and accuracy
  • Escalate delays or risks in reporting/compliance

6. Process Improvement & System Strengthening

  • Identify inefficiencies in MIS, reporting, and tracking processes
  • Recommend and implement improvements to:
    • Enhance data quality
    • Reduce manual effort
    • Improve reporting timelines
  • Support development of automated dashboards (Excel / Power BI)

Key Deliverables

  • Updated and accurate CSR MIS tracker
  • Monthly/Quarterly dashboards and reports
  • Complete audit-ready documentation repository
  • Timely closure of reporting and compliance gaps
  • Improved data accuracy and reporting efficiency

Technical Skills

  • Advanced MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, dashboards)
  • PowerPoint (for reporting)
  • Power BI / Tableau (preferred)
  • Data validation, structuring, and reporting frameworks

Behavioral Competencies

  • High attention to detail (critical for audit readiness)
  • Strong follow-up and ownership mindset
  • Structured, process-driven thinking
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Strong time management and discipline

Education

  • Graduate (Commerce / Economics / Statistics / Management preferred)
  • Certification in Data Analytics / MIS / CSR is an advantage
