The Distribution Risk function (L1B) is responsible for ensuring that the company’s distribution channels adhere to competency standards and operate ethically and compliantly. This role focuses in driving the execution of the function’s preventive capabilities, leveraging data analytics and managing change initiatives to ensure the proper controls are embedded during process design. The role involves partnering closely with distribution risk partners to support continued safe and sustainable growth. Additionally, the role plays a crucial part in preparing risk reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and relevant committees.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Dashboards, Risk MI & Data‑Driven Insights

  • Review the design, prioritisation, and ongoing relevance of conduct risk related dashboards (e.g. OneFraud) used by management and governance committees.

  • Ensure dashboards provide early warning indicators, clear risk signals and actionable insights (not descriptive statistics)

  • Shape the narrative that accompanies dashboards, ensuring insights are clearly explained and appropriately escalated.

  • Develop and implement a holistic monitoring system to identify potential conduct/ risk/ compliance issues.

2. Conduct and Risk Monitoring

  • Support the execution of conduct risk monitoring activities across distribution channels (e.g. agents, bancassurance, advisory).

  • Ensure monitoring outputs are consistent, risk‑based, and aligned to regulatory expectations.

  • Identify recurring themes, control gaps, and early-warning indicators based on incidents, complaints and monitoring results

  • Translate monitoring observations into clear risk themes and escalation triggers for governance forums.

3. Change & Control Embedding

  • Conduct holistic risk assessments across distribution channels to ensure risk matters arising from changes are considered.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to provide timely and practical risk insights to inform decision making, execution priorities or external developments, and embed the relevant controls into the processes.

  • Challenge control design to ensure controls are practical, monitorable, and aligned to risk indicators captured through dashboards and MI.

4. Stakeholder Management & Advisory Support

  • Provide clear, pragmatic risk perspectives to support management decision‑making.

  • Prepare risk insights, dashboards, and presentations to enable effective oversight, escalation and informed governance decisions.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 - 5 years with strong experience in risk reporting (dashboards / Power BI) and analytics

  • Preferably insurance (agency / bancassurance / advisory channels)

  • Banking or management consultant candidates (risk/compliance) can be adjacent if strong in conduct risk

  • As part of our global team, we’ll support you in shaping the future you want to see.
