About the Role: Treasury PEC and Controls Specialist
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented finance professional to join our Global Treasury team, with a strong focus on treasury governance, process excellence, transformation, and transaction banking support.
This role is central to strengthening global treasury control frameworks, driving standardisation and continuous improvement, and enabling scalable, well-governed treasury operations across markets. The role works closely with stakeholders in Treasury, Banking, Finance Operations, IT, and external partner teams to improve processes, reduce risk, and support enterprise-wide treasury initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Treasury Governance & Controls
Support the design, implementation and ongoing improvement of global treasury governance and control frameworks
Support global governance across Unilever in the following areas:
Bank account lifecycle (opening, changes and closure)
Banking access controls and periodic recertifications
Managing ancillary activities around bank account management.
Signing authorities and banking mandates
Treasury banking access management and SOX controls
Coordinate KYC, regulatory, and banking documentation with global banking partners
Support control reviews, testing, issue remediation and audit requests
Partner with finance and operations teams to drive consistent adoption of treasury controls and standards across markets
Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement
Identify process inefficiencies, control gaps, and operational risks in treasury and banking activities
Drive standardisation, simplification and automation of treasury and banking processes
Support the design and maintenance of clear process documentation, controls, and SOPs
Track operational metrics, issues and root causes to support continuous improvement
Embed a process excellence and risk‑aware mindset across treasury operations
Contribute to process redesign and implementation across treasury and Source-to-Pay interfaces
Act as a bridge between business users, IT teams, and external vendors during change initiatives
Stakeholder Management
This role requires strong stakeholder management and regular engagement with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Experience & Qualifications
4–10 years of experience in:
Corporate Treasury
Treasury Operations
Banking Operations
Professional finance qualification, with exposure to treasury and/or controls
Experience in a global, shared services, or multicultural environment is preferred
Skills & Capabilities
Organized, self-driven, and highly attentive to planning and detail
Knowledge of bank KYC/AML, FATCA, beneficial ownership, company incorporation, governance documentation, board resolutions, notary requirements, and apostille processes
Structured, analytical and detail‑oriented mindset
Strong understanding of treasury governance, controls and banking operations
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders, geographies, and priorities
