The Senior Executive Assistant I serves as a trusted strategic partner to executive leadership, providing high-level administrative, operational, and board governance support in a fast-paced and highly confidential environment. This role is responsible for managing complex executive priorities, facilitating communication across senior leadership and Board members, and ensuring seamless coordination of critical business activities. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional executive presence, sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to interact confidently with C-suite executives, Board Directors, and key business stakeholders. This individual will play a vital role in supporting corporate governance activities, board meeting preparation, executive communications, and departmental operations while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
As a key member of the Legal, Risk, and Corporate Governance team, this role works collaboratively across the organization, partnering with executives, board-facing stakeholders, and fellow Executive Assistants to support strategic initiatives and organizational priorities.
Location: Dallas, TX- onsite
** Primarily onsite role requiring four days per week in the Dallas office, with additional onsite presence as needed for Board meetings, executive events, and other business priorities
Job Responsibilities
Executive & Board Governance Support
Manage highly complex executive calendars, balancing competing priorities and optimizing the executive's time and effectiveness.
Coordinate and support Board of Directors meetings, committee meetings, executive leadership meetings, and governance-related activities.
Prepare, review, organize, and facilitate the timely distribution and posting of Board materials through the corporate board portal.
Serve as a key support resource for corporate governance processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to deadlines.
Partner closely with Legal, Corporate Governance, and Executive Leadership teams on board preparation activities and special projects.
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding highly sensitive business, legal, governance, financial, and executive matters.
Executive Administration & Communication
Draft, edit, proofread, and prepare executive-level communications, presentations, reports, meeting materials, and department-wide messaging.
Develop polished PowerPoint presentations and supporting materials for leadership meetings, board presentations, and strategic initiatives.
Coordinate department meetings, leadership team meetings, and offsite events, including agenda preparation, presentation development, meeting logistics, note-taking, and action item follow-up.
Exercise independent judgment and decision-making while managing sensitive information and executive priorities.
Meeting & Event Management
Plan, coordinate, and execute virtual and in-person meetings, including executive meetings, leadership sessions, committee meetings, and board-related events.
Arrange travel, accommodations, detailed itineraries, conference registrations, and business-related events.
Support occasional evening and weekend board preparation activities as business needs require.
Financial & Operational Support
Accurately prepare expense reports and facilitate approvals for invoices, purchase orders, check requests, and purchasing card transactions.
Maintain organized records and documentation related to executive, departmental, and governance activities.
Support cross-functional projects and collaborate with other Executive Assistants to ensure seamless organizational support.

Strong executive presence with the confidence to interact effectively with Board members, senior executives, and external stakeholders.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced PowerPoint and Microsoft Office proficiency.
Prior experience supporting a Board of Directors, including board portals and/or a corporate governance function, strongly preferred.
Strong organizational, project management, and prioritization skills.
Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
Qualifications
Education & Years of Experience
Bachelor's Degree plus 5-7 years of work experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 9-11 years of work experience of executive support experience supporting senior executives, C-suite leaders, or corporate officers.
Prior experience supporting Board of Directors meetings, corporate governance functions, or executive leadership teams is required
Experience working in highly confidential environments involving executive, legal, governance, or board-level matters.
Demonstrated success managing competing priorities in a fast-paced corporate environment.

$82,000 - $97,500 Salary
Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
