Job Description

Major responsibilities: (most important tasks, not more than 8 headlines, defined in 2-3 sentences only)

• Perform Seal Plan & Spare items inspection for visual, dimensional, hydro test, NDT inspection, documents review etc along with Client / TPI at Supplier and KSB end
• Conduct dimensional inspection of fabricated parts (Can, Motor stool, column pipes, base frame, etc.) using measuring instruments such as vernier calliper’s, micrometre’s, height gauges, and dial indicators etc.
• Review of QCP for Seal Plan and Fabricated items as per Projects Specifications.
• Execute NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) activities including DPI, RT, UT as per requirements.
• Verify that vendor manufacturing processes follow approved drawings and specifications.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and corrective action requests as required.
• Conduct Supplier Audit for vendor and take corrective actions from supplier for further improvements.
• Communicate inspection findings and work with vendors to resolve quality issues.
• Identify recurring issues in vendor quality performance and provide feedback for process improvements through notifications and improvement actions.

Requirement Profile:

Formal education :-Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / BE

Professional experience :-5 to 6 years

Defined competencies:

Functional skills – Knowledge and well familiar with measuring instruments, Knowledge of fabrication processes, awareness of NDT Testings. Well understood machining & fabrication drawings along with code and relative standards.

Behavioural Skills – Good Communication, Creativity, Decision making, good organizer, positive attitude, smart worker, knowing customer needs, capable to understand & resolve work related issues.
