Invoice processing and review, daily payment processing ,Coding and Approvals , query handling , vendor addition and changes, monthly reporting of accruals and forecasting.
Assemble, review, and verify invoices and check requests Flag or clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or price Sort, Code, and match invoices Set invoices up for payment Enter and upload invoices for payments Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices Check vendor files for any previous payments and assign voucher members Keep track of all the payments, and expenditures, invoices, statements etc. Reconciliation of processed work by verifying entries and compare system reports to balances and Work on unpaid reports and ensure maximum completion Contact approvers to ensure close-out of pending invoice approvals To pay vendors by scheduling pay checks and perform check runs Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments Create analysis of accounts and produce monthly reports Continually work towards the improvement of payment process, and improvement of all Accounts Payable processes (eg, drive improvement of fraud detection) Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues Maintain vendor files Correspond with vendors and respond to queries Assist with month end and quarter end closing Provide supporting documents for audits Set up new vendor in system after ensuring the complete documentation in partnership with Company’s Sourcing and Service Provider Risk team Deactivate vendors periodically based on Company deactivation criteria
Graduate in Accounting or MBA Finance 2-4 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
