In this role, you will provide technical engineering leadership and project execution expertise to support the safe, efficient delivery of capital maintenance and operational projects across the Prairie Region, ensuring critical infrastructure remains reliable, compliant, and fit for service.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead the planning and execution of capital maintenance and operational projects, including resource selection, procurement activities, and contractor coordination.
  • Provide engineering expertise and technical leadership for electrical, mechanical, civil, and equipment repair or replacement projects throughout the Prairie Region.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance teams, project sponsors, and contractors to ensure projects are design effectively, delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Develop technical solutions to complex operational and maintenance challenges while ensuring compliance with Enbridge standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure project documentation, technical records, drawings, and asset information are accurately maintained throughout the project lifecycle and transitioned to asset management systems.
  • Mentor junior engineers and regional personnel while supporting emergency response activities as a key Incident Command System resource.

Who You Are:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Alberta or Saskatchewan with 6+ years of related industry experience.
  • Analytical with strong problem-solving, decision-making, planning, and organizational abilities.
  • Collaborative with a team-oriented and customer-focused approach to working with operations, contractors, and business partners.
  • Influential communicator with the ability to clearly convey technical and non-technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Knowledgeable in engineering project execution, construction standards, operations and maintenance practices, with pipeline operations, maintenance, or integrity experience considered an asset.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment.
  • Moderate travel (up to 25%) within the Region. Ability to travel and work throughout Canada.
  • A valid driver's license and maintenance of a responsible driving record is required which will be validated before hire.

Salary:

  • Ranges from $105,000 – $130,000 CAD for Canadian locations (except Alberta) based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity.
  • Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
