SENIOR EVENTS SPECIALIST

Location: Brookfield, WI Home Office

Schedule: Hybrid — 4 days onsite, 1 day remote once fully trained

DUTIES

As a Senior Events Specialist, you’ll own the full event lifecycle and create experiences that leave a lasting impression. You’ll:

• Lead the planning and execution of corporate events, conferences, meetings, employee engagement activities, leadership summits, and special programs.
• Develop event plans, timelines, project schedules, and run-of-show documentation.
• Manage multiple events simultaneously while meeting deadlines, objectives, and budget requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and keep stakeholders aligned on deliverables and milestones.
• Oversee onsite operations, resolve issues in real time, and implement contingency plans when needed.
• Develop, manage, and track event budgets, process invoices, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Source venues and vendors, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Partner with business leaders to define event goals, success measures, communications, branding, and attendee engagement strategies.
• Support registration processes, promotional materials, and event communications.
• Analyze event metrics, attendee feedback, and survey results to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

EXPERIENCE

We’re looking for a Senior Events Specialist who combines creativity with exceptional organization and project management skills. You’ll bring a bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, along with 5+ years of event planning and management experience. The ideal Senior Events Specialist has experience leading large-scale corporate events and multi-stakeholder projects, strong budget management and vendor negotiation skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You’ll need excellent communication and organizational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, willingness to travel up to 20 days per year within the USA, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

• Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as internal equity and the organization’s compensation practices.
