You’re an accountable project leader who can calm down a stressed client, support a teammate having in need, fix a last-minute speaker issue and still keep the budget on track: all before lunch. Experienced in pharmaceutical and healthcare events, you thrive in fast-paced environments, love bringing order to chaos and know how to keep projects, people and compliance all moving in the same direction.

What you’ll be doing

In this position, you’ll join a team fully dedicated to one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies.

  • Lead all aspects of multiple, large-scale projects for one of our key pharma accounts, from briefing to successful delivery and closing, including logistics, production and content coordination

  • Ensure full alignment with client's operational standards, compliance requirements, approval processes and event procedures

  • Act as the main point of contact for client's stakeholders during the implementation phase

  • Manage timelines, budgets, suppliers and reporting with strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Support, mentor and collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth project delivery

Must haves

(We really mean it. Candidates who do not meet the following criteria will not be considered.)

  • 8+ years of event project management experience within the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry, including end-to-end attendee management and event delivery

  • Previous experience working in an event agency environment and managing multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting

  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical and healthcare regulations, compliance requirements and client processes

  • Excellent organisational, negotiation and problem-solving skills, with a proactive communication style, process-driven mindset and strong attention to detail

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong hands-on experience with Cvent, including website development, attendee management, and budgeting

  • Full professional proficiency in English & Spanish

  • Based in Madrid and available to travel regularly

Nice to haves

  • Fluency in French or German, written and spoken

Compensation

We aim to ensure consistency, transparency, and fairness across all our hiring decisions. The salary range for this position is between [X] and [Y], based on our internal salary framework and external market benchmarks. Final compensation will depend on your experience, the level and scope of the role, and your specific location.
