What you’ll be doing

In this role, you will work 100% on one of our key pharmaceutical clients for projects in Germany and Austria

• Lead all aspects of multiple, large projects from initial briefing to successful delivery and closing, including logistics and project content

• Manage all teams assigned to an event and ensure strict adherence to the client’s operational standards, tools, approval flows and protocols

• Be the main point of contact for our clients and drive effective stakeholder management across all internal and external partners

• Monitor timelines and event budgets to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery

• Operate confidently under pressure, managing last‑minute changes while maintaining full compliance

• Develop, mentor and coach other team members, setting the standard for precision, resilience and accountability

Must haves

(We really mean it. Candidates who do not meet the following criteria will not be considered.)

• 10+ years of event project management experience in the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry

• Strong background in highly logistical, compliance‑driven events

• Solid knowledge of healthcare regulations in Germany and internationally

• Ability to be highly resilient, keep calm under pressure, and comfortable operating in environments with complex processes and strict deadlines

• Extremely detail‑oriented and strongly process‑driven

• Proven experience in budget creation, management, and consolidation

• Fluency in spoken and written English and German (no scrambled Eier at egg, bitte)

Nice to haves

• Event agency experience, ideally combined with hands-on knowledge of production workflows

• Proficient using Cvent
