In financial statement audit at PwC, you will focus on obtaining reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and to issue an auditor’s report that includes the auditor’s opinion.

Responsibilities

• Beacrucialteammemberexecutingagreed-uponprocedures,especiallyexpenditureverificationsofEU-fundedprojects,followingprotocolsofgrants,twinning,serviceandsupplycontracts,constructionprojects,delegation,andcontributionagreementsunderPRAGandTwinningManuals

• Documentproceduresmethodicallywithinadedicatedauditplatform

• Workwithauditteams,liaisingwiththeEuropeanCommission,itsDelegations,reportingentities,andotherexpertstodeliverhigh-qualityservice

• Buildandmaintainstrongclientrelationships

• Adaptandthriveinaninternationalworkingenvironment

Requirements

• Minimumof3yearsofauditexperience

• ExperienceinauditingEU-fundedprojectsorauditverificationofsuchprojectsisaplus

• Bachelor’sorMaster’sdegreeinFinance,Accounting,Economics,orarelatedfield

• Membershipinanationalorinternationalaccountingauditingbody,suchasACCA,isadvantageous

• Willingnesstotravelinternationally,mainlywithinEurope; avalidinternationalpassportisrequired

• FluentinEnglish,withexperienceinEnglish-languageworkingenvironments

• ProficiencyinanadditionalEuropeanlanguage(French,Italian,Spanish,orPortuguese)ishighlybeneficial

• Proactiveapproachandabilitytoprioritizetasks

• Excellentcommunicationandinterpersonalskills

• Strongteamworkskillsandabilitytomanagemultipleresponsibilities
