Senior ETL Migration Engineer - Informatica Administrator

As a ETL Migration engineer, you will work within the Data Integration Engineering squad on ETL processes migration to modern ETL tool. The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Experience in ETL migration programs (e.g., Informatica to open source or modern ETL tools).
  • Proven hands-on experience with ETL Migration Initiatives, especially moving Informatica workflows to open-source or cloud-native integration frameworks; strong understanding of ETL architecture, data integration patterns and relational data concepts.
  • Must have proven work experience with Informatica Administration (Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Intelligent Data management Cloud (IDMC)
  • Ability to analyze and document ETL logic, categorizing workflows by complexity, domain, criticality and create migration artifacts such as inventories, source-to-target mappings and transformation summaries
  • Innovation-first mindset with strong automation skills, using Python, Groovy, Java, Jenkins, APIs and/or shell scripting to streamline migration and administrative tasks and identify reusable patterns. Experience evaluating and adopting emerging tools, frameworks, or practices that improve engineering outcomes.
  • Partner with architecture, data engineering, and business teams to define migration sequencing and priorities. Experience defining engineering standards, reference implementations, or shared frameworks adopted by multiple teams.
  • Excellent analytical skills to triage and resolve production issues and outages. Experience with on-call support, resolving incidents and release management practices.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end delivery of complex initiatives across multiple teams or stakeholders. Experience partnering closely with product, operations, and platform users to shape technical priorities.
  • Ability to mentor engineers, provide high-quality code and design reviews, and raise the technical bar for the broader team.

Bonus Skills

  • Certification in Informatica or any other ETL tool
  • Certification in public cloud (Azure or AWS)
  • SnapLogic or any other open source ETL tool administration experience is a plus.
  • Experience in configuring and deploying applications in public cloud like Azure / AWS using IAC tools like OpenTofu or Terraform. Understanding and practical experience with implementing Infrastructure as Code.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience using DevAssist or similar AI developer-assistant tools for use cases such as identifying patterns in ETL processes and translating them into target-platform constructs.
