Position: Software Developer – ETL (Senior)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ETL
Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust data integration solutions.
The successful candidate will bring strong expertise in Informatica, PL/SQL,
cloud technologies, data warehousing, performance optimization,
troubleshooting, and migration initiatives. This role involves collaborating
with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality
data solutions and system integrations in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Design,
  develop, support, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica Cloud
  (IDMC).
• 
  Migrate
  Informatica PowerCenter ETL code, including embedded SQL and PL/SQL
  developed on Oracle platforms.
• 
  Test
  migrated SQL and PL/SQL stored procedures.
• 
  Perform
  SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning and optimization.
• 
  Conduct
  root cause analysis and resolve ETL-related issues.
• 
  Execute
  data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple data sources
  into enterprise data warehouses.
• 
  Develop
  and validate data pipelines based on technical specifications.
• 
  Collaborate
  with project teams during testing, debugging, and validation activities.
• 
  Produce
  technical documentation, deployment guides, and support materials.
• 
  Participate
  in Agile/Scrum delivery cycles.
• 
  Ensure
  compliance with data governance, security, and access control
  requirements.
• 
  Provide
  post-implementation support and knowledge transfer.

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills

• 
  5+
  years of ETL and data warehousing experience.
• 
  Strong
  experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud (IDMC).
• 
  Advanced
  PL/SQL and SQL development skills.
• 
  Experience
  with relational databases including Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.
• 
  Experience
  designing and supporting dimensional data models and star/snowflake
  schemas.
• 
  Experience
  with Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, and cloud platforms such as Azure,
  AWS, or Google Cloud.
• 
  Experience
  with Python and Unix shell scripting.
• 
  Version
  control and DevOps experience using GitHub, Azure DevOps, and Jira.
• 
  Experience
  with ETL performance tuning, troubleshooting, recovery, and optimization.

Core Competencies

• 
  Software
  development lifecycle experience using Agile/Scrum and Waterfall
  methodologies.
• 
  Technical
  analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation experience.
• 
  Strong
  experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• 
  Experience
  supporting large-scale enterprise applications and integrations.

  Proven
  technical leadership and problem-solving skills.

  working within public sector environments.
• 
  Experience
  with inter-jurisdictional government projects and enterprise architecture
  practices.

  Knowledge
  of accessibility standards and related regulations.

Work Arrangement

  Hybrid
  work model.

  Candidate
  must work onsite three days per week in Toronto.
