Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Estimator / Project Manager with a strong background in heavy civil and earthwork to lead estimating efforts and support project execution. This role is critical to driving bid accuracy, managing risk, and contributing to overall project profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead earthwork estimating efforts, including takeoffs and bid preparation
  • Perform detailed soil analysis and modeling using geotechnical data and borings
  • Develop accurate cost estimates for mass grading, excavation, and site development
  • Collaborate with operations teams to align estimates with execution strategy
  • Support project management functions as needed throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in heavy civil, sitework, or earthwork construction
  • Strong proficiency in AGTEK or similar earthwork takeoff software
  • Experience with Bid2Win (HCSS) or comparable estimating platforms
  • Proven ability to manage full-cycle estimating for complex projects
  • Strong understanding of soil conditions, cut/fill analysis, and site balancing
