Senior Estimator – Commercial Roofing
Salary: $110,000 – $115,000 Base + Bonus
Location: Dallas, TX (Relocation Assistance Available). This is an in-office role

About the Company

We are a well-established, full-service commercial roofing contractor specializing exclusively in commercial projects — no residential, no shingles, no storm chasing. Our work is primarily consultant-driven, plan/spec, and ranges from $1M to $10M+ in value.

We are looking to add a Senior Estimator to our in-house estimating team due to continued growth and strong project volume.

The Senior Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed, accurate estimates for commercial roofing projects while working closely with internal teams to ensure clean handoffs to operations.

This is a structured, office-based role within a collaborative estimating department.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed takeoffs and cost analysis for commercial roofing projects
• Prepare complete, competitive bids for consultant-driven plan/spec work
• Estimate projects typically ranging from $1M–$10M
• Review scope, pricing, and subcontractor proposals for accuracy
• Collaborate with fellow estimators and project managers
• Support smooth bid-to-project handoff process
• Maintain high attention to detail and margin awareness

Team Environment

• 4-person estimating team (2 Senior, 2 Junior)
• Project Management team operates separately
• Clear internal structure and processes
• Strong collaboration between estimating and operations

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial roofing estimating experience
• Experience with plan/spec and consultant-driven projects
• Proven ability to bid projects in the $1M–$10M range
• Strong knowledge of commercial systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, BUR, Metal, etc.)
• The EDGE experience required
• Bluebeam preferred
• Procore helpful but not required
• Strong takeoff capability and attention to detail

Compensation & Benefits

• $110,000 – $115,000 base salary (based on experience)
