We’re looking for a Senior Estimator to lead our most complex and high-value tenders – bringing deep technical knowledge, sharp commercial judgement, and a rigorous eye for risk.

This is a Brisbane-based role supporting our NSW team, with some interstate travel required.

The role

Reporting to the General Manager NSW, you’ll own end-to-end tendering for Unita’s most complex NSW projects – from scope review through to handover. You’ll collaborate with Delivery, trades, and consultants to produce submissions that are accurate, competitive, and commercially sound.

What great looks like

• Tenders are led end-to-end with accuracy, rigour, and sound commercial judgement
• Risks and scope gaps are surfaced and resolved before submission
• Value-engineering is identified collaboratively and reflected in competitive submissions
• Subcontractor relationships produce reliable, competitive pricing across trades
• Submissions consistently reflect Unita’s standards
• Issues and assumptions are raised to the GM NSW promptly – without being asked
• Delivery teams receive handovers that set projects up for a clean start

Experience we’re looking for

• 5+ years’ estimating experience in fitout, commercial, or construction
• Proven ability to lead tenders end-to-end, $1M–$15M+ in value
• Strong track record across complex, multi-trade fitout projects
• Experience reviewing estimates produced by others
• Proficient in CostX, Bluebeam, or similar estimating tools
• Background in workplace, retail, hospitality, or health fitout is an advantage
• Driver’s licence (mandatory)
