Senior Estimating and Pricing Specialist

Boeing's Finance Shared Services, Government Estimating: Proposal Development division is seeking a Senior Estimating and Pricing Specialist to join our Boeing Aerospace Operations (BAO) team in Hazelwood, MO
This role involves working with both government and commercial contracts both domestic and international, supporting substantial business acquisitions. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, capable of managing assignments proactively, and excels in cross-functional coordination and written and verbal communication.
Position Responsibilities:
Coach and mentor junior colleagues, assign work, conduct 1:1 meetings and train new employees
Lead the development of detailed estimates and pricing from complex technical requirements through the program’s design, build, and sustainment phases
Work with internal stakeholders to analyze supplier and material needs and develop cost estimates for budgetary, Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM), and formal Boeing proposals in Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) and non‑TINA environments.
Lead compliance efforts, develop and implement new policies and procedures, deploy new systems and tools, create and deliver training
Conduct internal audits
Develop and deliver presentations for estimating reviews and approvals
Prepare and price both Priced Bills of Material (PBOM) and Labor Basis of Estimate (BOE)
Conduct peer and management reviews in accordance with organizational Delegation of Authority (DOA) guidelines
Serve as management delegate when required
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher
5+ years of experience in a business-related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
2 + years of experience with Government Proposal Process, and Boeing Estimating System Manual (BESM)
Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) knowledge or experience
Experience preparing material or labor estimating packages

Pay Range: $119,000 - $161,000
