Making Future

Join our HYDROPOWER SUSTAINABILITY team. Our expertise lies in the planning and implementation hydropower plants while preserving natural habitats as effectively as possible and meeting growing safety requirements. To ensure this we carry out specific environmental and social (E&S) studies including biodiversity studies and support Clients in the implementation of E&S mitigation and offset measures.

Take on responsibility with us as:

• Project manager for environmental and social impact assessments for hydropower facilities, leading an interdisciplinary project team
• Project manager for environmental and social due diligence services and lenders environmental and social advisory services for hydropower projects
• Preparation of E&S reports, TORs and presentations
• Preparation proposals for ESIAs and E&S works related to hydropower facilities
• Support in preparation of contracts for client and for our subconsultants, including involvement in contract negotiations

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience as project manager for ESIAs for hydropower or other large infrastructure projects compliant with international standards, such as IFC, ADB, AfDB, EBRD, kfw, equator principles and HSS.
• Master Degree of PhD in Environmental Engineering or similar and an excellent academic record
• Excellent English skills; additional language skills (especially French) are an advantage
• Customer-oriented team player with a strong commitment to quality and responsibility
• Willingness and enthusiasm for international assignments worldwide
