Senior ERP Security & Compliance Enginee

POSITION PURPOSE:

We are seeking a Senior Security & Authorization Engineer with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP to join our team, working closely with the CORE S/4HANA Program and its Security & Authorization Team. The ideal candidate will focus on Compliance & Governance and Security Architecture, ensuring that our systems adhere to the highest security standards while closely collaborating with the CORE S/4 Program, S&A Team, and IT Operations.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute and maintain procedures for user administration and other security-related processes, particularly within the context of SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP.
• Assess the security risks associated with the SAP system and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate closely with the CORE S/4HANA Program and its Security & Authorization Team to ensure that security and authorization requirements are effectively integrated into the program's initiatives.
• Focus on Compliance & Governance, supporting that systems and processes align with industry standards and regulations e.g. GxP or ICS / GISC.
• Develop and maintain security architecture for SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP, providing guidance on security best practices and ensuring the implementation of appropriate security measures.
• Support regular security assessments, audits, and reviews to identify and mitigate potential risks and vulnerabilities within SAP S/4 and SAP BTP.
• Design and implement authorization concepts and roles within SAP S/4 and SAP BTP, aligning them with business needs and security standards.
• Provide expertise in security and authorization-related matters, acting as a point of contact for security inquiries and issues, particularly within the context of SAP S/4 and SAP BTP and their integration with IT Operations.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Over 10 years of experience in SAP Security
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience
• Experience in security and authorization, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and their integration with IT Operations, Compliance & Governance, and Security Architecture.
• Understanding of industry security standards, regulations, and best practices
• Proficiency in conducting security assessments, audits, and reviews to identify and mitigate risks within SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP.
• Knowledge of authorization concepts and role design within SAP systems, specifically within the context of SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders. Previous experience working internationally or within cross-cultural teams is a plus.
• Experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies
• Familiarity with SAP Cloud Identity Services (CIS), Identity Authentication Service (IAS), Identity Provisioning service (IPS) and Access tools and processes, particularly within the context of SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP and especially with SailPoint IDNOW and Pathlock Cloud.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus
