Job Description

Oversees the functional management, optimization, and continuous improvement of American Hospital Dubai’s Oracle Fusion ERP Finance ecosystem. Provides subject-matter expertise in financial modules, ensuring accurate, real-time data, automated processes, and compliance with UAE VAT, IFRS, and healthcare financial regulations. Serves as a key link between Finance, Supply Chain, and IT, supporting both operational excellence and strategic financial governance.

ERP System Management & Support

  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Oracle Fusion Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Procurement, Expenses).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ERP system issues, escalating complex matters when necessary.
  • Provide user support, training, and documentation for Finance and Procurement teams.
  • Conduct system health checks, coordinate patches, upgrades, and incident investigations.
  • Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams for escalations and enhancements.

Business Process Analysis & Optimization

  • Partner with Finance and Supply Chain leadership to identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Translate business requirements into ERP functional specifications and workflows.
  • Ensure ERP-enabled processes align with AHD’s policies, compliance, and audit standards.
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities through ERP optimization.

Configuration & Enhancements

  • Configure ERP modules for VAT compliance, financial reporting, and business requirements.
  • Develop functional design documents (FDDs) and validate technical solutions with IT teams.
  • Support UAT testing, rollout of enhancements, and workflow modifications.
  • Maintain documentation for configurations, workflows, and changes under change management standards.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Build and maintain financial dashboards and reports using Oracle BI, OTBI, Smart View, and BI Publisher.
  • Partner with Finance leadership on forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Deliver executive reporting for audits, board reviews, and compliance.
  • Ensure financial data integrity across ERP reporting systems.

Governance, Compliance & Controls

  • Ensure compliance with UAE VAT law, IFRS, SOX, HIPAA, and JCI standards.
  • Implement segregation of duties (SoD) in ERP roles and enforce financial controls.
  • Support internal and external audits with system evidence and access reviews.
  • Reduce risks of fraud or error through system-driven controls.

Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead or support ERP-related projects, module implementations, and integrations.
  • Manage small-to-medium ERP enhancements independently.
  • Maintain an ERP roadmap to align with organizational goals.
  • Promote continuous improvement and adoption of Oracle Fusion’s evolving features.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Provide structured updates to leadership, IT, and Finance stakeholders.
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing, documentation, and onboarding activities.
  • Contribute to a culture of accountability, collaboration, and transparency.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Oracle Fusion ERP Financials Certification preferred.
  • CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred.
  • ITIL Foundation or Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) certification preferred.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of six (6) years of progressive experience in Oracle Fusion ERP Finance modules within enterprise or healthcare environments.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Procurement, Expenses).
  • Knowledge of financial accounting, UAE VAT, IFRS standards, and hospital finance operations.
  • Knowledge of ERP reporting tools (OTBI, Smart View, BI Publisher).
  • Knowledge of healthcare billing and revenue cycle management (preferred).
  • Knowledge of robotic process automation (RPA) and AI-driven financial analytics (preferred).
  • Skills in ERP implementations, upgrades, troubleshooting, and end-user support.
  • Skills in business process analysis, workflow optimization, and ERP configuration.
  • Skills in preparing audit-ready system logs, access reviews, and control evidence.
  • Skills in delivering executive-level reporting for audits, board reviews, and compliance.
  • Skills in cross-functional collaboration with IT, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Operations.
  • Skills in training and mentoring junior ERP analysts and Finance staff (preferred).
  • Ability to operate effectively in regulated, mission-critical healthcare environments.
  • Ability to support governance, financial compliance, and risk management frameworks.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness.
  • Ability to adapt in multicultural and multinational environments (preferred).
  • Ability to promote continuous improvement, automation, and ERP innovation.
  • Understanding of Oracle EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) concepts and processes, sufficient to engage effectively as the client counterpart while a vendor/partner leads EPM implementation (e.g., FCCS, PBCS/EPBCS, ARCS integration touchpoints with Fusion Financials).
  • Technical exposure to building and customizing reports across Oracle Fusion reporting tools (OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View), including working knowledge of underlying data sources and report logic.
  • Understanding of custom integrations built on Oracle PaaS (e.g., OIC — Oracle Integration Cloud, VBCS) connecting Fusion ERP with external or downstream systems, sufficient to support troubleshooting, UAT, and functional validation of integration points.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Redwood UX design principles and Visual Builder (VB Studio) for page/application personalization, including ability to review, validate, or lightly configure Redwood-based UI changes.
  • Awareness and practical exposure to leveraging embedded AI capabilities within Oracle Redwood (e.g., AI-driven insights, smart suggestions, conversational/assistive features) to enhance user experience and process efficiency
