This position is within the Asset Management unit with the Planning, Design and Management Section of the Transportation Services Division. The section provides central management and oversight of planning, development, environmental compliance, and budget coordination for projects, programs and infrastructure assets that make up Toronto's street network.
Reporting to the Manager od the Asset Management Unit, the Senior Environmental Project Manager will lead and supervises the Contaminated Right-of-Way Management Program team. The team has oversight of environmental requirements associated with the acquisition, conveyance, operation and maintenance of transportation infrastructure assets, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, City policies, and environmental approvals.
