In this role, you'll:


This role will be working as part of a team delivering heritage advice and approvals to support project teams delivering critical work across the Transport network.


As part of a team and supported by the Specialist (Heritage) for the relevant portfolio, this role will see you provide high-quality specialist heritage advice to support heritage outcomes in a fast-paced operational environment. You will support the development of heritage programs and contribute to research, assessment, and policy development to protect and manage significant places.

About you


You will shape practical and fit for purpose heritage management approaches and drive improved conservation outcomes in a complex infrastructure environment where regulatory compliance, stakeholder collaboration and the responsible management of heritage assets are essential.



Your strong heritage knowledge, analytical capability, and ability to work across diverse stakeholder groups, formed across heritage conservation, archaeology, environment, architecture, or related fields, will see you deliver expert advice, navigate complex heritage risks, and bring sound judgement and collaborative practice to achieve sustainable, best practice heritage outcomes.



You're recognised as a clear and confident communicator, skilled at translating technical heritage requirements into practical guidance, experienced in heritage assessment, conservation planning, interpreting legislative frameworks and contributing to heritage policy, programs, and asset management initiatives.
