About the team you are joining

Reporting to the Head ERP Implementation and in collaboration with other stakeholders across IATA I&D and IATA Corporate Service teams, you will drive enterprise-level direction and governance of a multiyear, ERP (SAP) migration program delivered in partnership with one or more System Integrators.
With a strong ERP domain background, you will be ensuring that technology investments deliver coherent, scalable, and business aligned outcomes. While day-to-day build activities will be led by SIs, you will ensure that all designs align with enterprise architecture standards, agreed roadmaps, and long-term business objectives.

What your day would be like

Serve as ERP Architecture Authority: Provide clear architectural direction for the SAP migration program, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and guiding system integrators and internal teams.
Translate Strategy into Architecture: Engage senior stakeholders to convert business objectives into ERP target capabilities, principles, and an actionable architecture roadmap.
Own and Govern ERP Roadmap: Maintain alignment across processes, data, integrations, security, and infrastructure while providing assessment and recommendations on the deployment options.
Validate Solution Designs: Review and approve SI-produced designs for compliance with SAP best practices, enterprise standards, data governance, and non-functional requirements.
Ensure End-to-End Integrity: Oversee integration across SAP modules and surrounding systems, preventing siloed or fragmented implementations.
Lead Data Architecture & Migration: Collaborate with Data Governance to define master data ownership, quality standards, and migration strategy, including cutover sequencing.

We would love to hear from you if

  • 8–10+ years in Enterprise Architecture roles for large-scale transformation programs, including deep ERP migration expertise (preferably SAP ECC → S/4HANA) and advanced application of Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
  • Deep expertise in ERP-centric landscapes, including processes, data, and integration design.
  • Proven ability to govern System Integrators, manage transition architectures, technical debt, and multi-release risks.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills to effectively support, guide, and collaborate with senior leaders and program sponsors.
