What you’ll be doing

The Senior Engineer will design and deliver product capabilities across the full stack, shaping user experiences in React and building robust backend services in .NET. This role suits an engineer who is strong in either modern front-end development or backend API development and is comfortable contributing across both layers to deliver production-ready features end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and Requirements:

• Work closely with Product, Design and QA to understand requirements and shape technical solutions.

• Contribute to technical discovery, estimation and backlog refinement.

System Design:

• Design scalable, secure and maintainable solutions across React applications and .NET APIs.

• Define API contracts and integration patterns that support front-end needs.

• Contribute to architectural decisions across front-end, backend and cloud infrastructure.

Implementation:

• Build and maintain front-end applications using React and TypeScript, focusing on performance, accessibility and maintainability.

• Develop backend services and APIs in .NET, supporting core product and workflow capabilities.

• Write clean, well-tested code and actively participate in code reviews.

• Ensure strong test coverage across unit, integration and end-to-end tests.

• Contribute to shared patterns, libraries and design system usage.

Maintenance and Improvement:

• Support incident resolution and production issues as required.

• Continuously improve system performance, reliability and developer experience.

• Provide technical guidance and support to other engineers.

• Contribute to evolving engineering standards and practices

Delivery:

• Own features end-to-end across the stack - from design through to production.

• Actively contribute to sprint delivery, planning and retrospectives.

• Deliver high-quality outcomes aligned to timelines and product priorities.

Who we're looking for

Experience:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.

• Strong experience in either React/TypeScript front-end development or .NET backend development.

• Ability and willingness to work across the full stack.

• Experience delivering production features end-to-end.

Technical Skills:

• React and TypeScript, including component design, state/data management patterns, modern front-end tooling and maintainable UI architecture.

• NET and ASP.NET Core, including API design, service development and production support.

• REST APIs and distributed system concepts.

• Relational databases, such as PostgreSQL.

• AWS-based cloud services, infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines.

Desirable:

• Experience with micro-frontends or modular front-end architecture.

• Experience with cloud-native services and event-driven patterns.

• Production-grade testing practices across front-end and backend.

• Exposure to AI-enabled development practices or tooling

What your impact and success looks like

We expect your success and impact in the early stages of your career with us to look something like this:

Within 3 months:

• You will contribute to smaller features across the stack while building familiarity with the product and technology landscape.

• You will build understanding of the product, architecture and engineering practices.

• You will participate in planning, estimation and code reviews from day one.

Within 6 months:

• You will deliver features independently across front-end and backend.

• You will contribute to technical decisions and process improvements.

• You will collaborate closely with Product and other teams to shape practical, production-ready solutions.
