This is an experienced level position requiring advance knowledge of Quality Engineering principles, quality systems, and technical problem-solving. The incumbent is fully competent in conventional and advance quality methodologies spanning broad technical assignments. Technical assignments involve applying and refining quality processes, developing improved inspection and verification techniques, and ensuring compliance with internal and external quality standards. The role requires the ability to interpret complex requirements, evaluate risk, lead quality-driven investigations, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions. Assignments may include planning, coordinating, and executing quality engineering task of significant scope whole collaborating closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and program teams. Frequent supplier interaction and travel is required to explain quality approaches, present data, and resolve issues.

Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership across complex development, production, and programs
• Develop and refine quality requirements, inspection plans, and verification methods for systems, subsystems, and components.
• Lead Corrective/Preventive Action (CAPA) Activities
• Define, implement, and improve process controls, quality metrics, and data-driven monitoring systems
• Conduct quality reviews, audits, and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
• Evaluate and qualify new materials, processes, tools, and inspection technologies to enhance product quality.
• Analyze Quality Data trends and develop technical recommendations to prevent recurrence of issues.
• Support design teams by translating quality requirements into measurable acceptance criteria and risk-mitigation strategies.
• Perform statistical analyses and develop sampling strategies to ensure robust product verification.
• Provide technical quality presentations and support internal and external stakeholders.
• Partner with manufacturing engineering to ensure production readiness and continuous process improvement.
• Review and approve quality-related documentation, including inspection, test results, and process changes.
• Work / Visit suppliers to resolve quality issues.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education, Experience/Knowledge & License/Certification:
• Associate’s degree (STEM preferred) and 5+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Incumbents should possess a broad knowledge of quality engineering, inspection methodologies, and quality systems.
• Demonstrated record of technical leadership and successful implementation of quality improvements.

Skills and Abilities:
• Strong analytical ability with proven skill in structured problem solving and data driven decision making.
• Keen attention to detail with the ability to identify and mitigate risks proactively.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with cross functional teams.
• Able to work independently under general supervision while managing multiple priorities.

Travel/Physical Requirements:
• Travel up to 20%
