  • Manage an annual capital portfolio of up to $20 million, including project identification, business justification, planning, forecasting, execution, and financial closeout.
  • Lead capital projects from concept and design through procurement, installation, commissioning, start-up, and operational handoff.
  • Provide technical direction to engineering resources while developing the site’s engineering, controls, and troubleshooting capability.
  • Prioritize and deliver improvements in safety, food safety, quality, capacity, productivity, automation, reliability, and cost performance.

  • Lead complex troubleshooting, root cause analysis, major shutdowns, equipment installations, and high-risk technical activities.
  • Provide strategic guidance to the maintenance and reliability team and help build mechanical, electrical, controls, and problem-solving capability.

Why You’ll Love This Role

  • Shape the technical direction of a highly automated manufacturing site and influence its three- to five-year roadmap.
  • Lead approximately 35 active capital projects of varied size, with meaningful autonomy in how work is prioritized and executed.
  • Create visible impact across food safety, quality, reliability, efficiency, cost improvement, and manufacturing competitiveness.
  • Build stronger engineering standards and help advance the site toward smarter, more connected factory capabilities.
  • Develop technical talent while partnering with plant leadership, corporate engineering, and specialized external resources.

Qualifications

  • Experience implementing automation, process optimization, productivity improvement, CMMS, reliability, or asset management programs.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or demonstrated continuous improvement expertise; PMP, PE, CMRP, or another relevant professional certification is also preferred.
