Industrial Engineer – Job Description
1. Role Purpose
The Industrial Engineer is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring accurate master data in SAP, supporting new product introduction (including TSP products), and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
2. Key Responsibilities
• Create and maintain routings, BOMs, and work instructions for standard and technically special products (TSP) in SAP.
• Manage Engineering Change Requests (ECR /ECN) with proper coordination and documentation.
• Prepare technical drawings using AutoCAD / Creo and support production.
• Participate in new product introduction and technology transfer activities.
• Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and improve efficiency (cost, productivity, scrap).
• Design production layouts and optimize workflows to increase productivity and reduce waste.
3. Profile & Competencies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to grasp organizational concepts quickly.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of SAP and Microsoft 365.
• Experience in AutoCAD / Creo preferred.
4. Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
