What You Will Do:

  • Lead technical evaluations and engineering analysis by independently assessing energy conservation opportunities, reviewing complex solutions, and completing custom energy savings calculations.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor and mentor, providing guidance to delivery teams and engineers while supporting successful project execution and technical excellence.
  • Drive continuous improvement and evolution of internal energy engineering tools and project calculators, through development support, training, and user engagement.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and delivery teams to conduct site assessments, building audits, and thermal system evaluations that identify, screen, and validate energy conservation opportunities.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of project savings calculations through timely project reviews, audit-ready documentation, DSM tracking compliance, and support for customer verification processes.
  • Collaborate across Enbridge teams to review and advance custom projects, build strong cross-functional relationships, and achieve program objectives.

Who You Are:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
  • Six or more years of directly relevant experience.
  • Registered member with PEO as P. Eng in the Province of Ontario.
  • Strong technical and analytical aptitude, project management, organizational, and communication skills with a customer- and results-focused mindset.
  • Deep expertise in commercial and industrial building systems, controls, and energy technologies, with a passion for driving efficiency and innovation.
  • Proven leadership in relationship building, influencing without authority, and driving outcomes through collaboration.
  • Strategic problem solver with the ability to navigate complex challenges and make sound decisions in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with energy management, Measurement and Verification, creating complex energy calculators using excel and other programs, and emerging technology or engineering pilot projects is an asset.

Working Conditions:

  • A valid "G" class Ontario driver's license and maintenance of a responsible driving record is required which will be validated before hire.

Salary:

  • Ranges from $88,920 – $142,200 CAD for Canadian locations (except Alberta) based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity.
  • Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.

Benefits:

  • A paid maternity and parental leave benefit that offers up to 20 weeks of paid leave for birth-giving parents and up to 12 weeks for other eligible parents, providing flexibility and support during this important life event.
