In this role, you will be responsible for leading, executing, and coordinating CAE tasks and projects related to System Simulation. You will drive technical excellence, ensure quality and timely project delivery, and provide guidance to team members while supporting the organization's commitment to innovation and safety. You will be expected to take ownership of project deliverables, collaborate across teams, and continuously enhance simulation methodologies and processes.

Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:

  • Leading and executing CAE projects related to system simulation.

  • Managing meshing and analysis activities with minimal supervision.

  • Understanding project scope, planning execution strategies, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.

  • Ensuring high-quality standards and technical excellence in all simulation and analysis outputs.

  • Working extensively with HyperMesh, LS-DYNA, Primer, and LS-Post.

  • Supporting NCAPS and system model setup activities.

  • Taking ownership and accountability for project delivery, efficiency, and performance.

  • Conducting technical reviews and ensuring stage-wise project assessments with account managers and stakeholders.

  • Mentoring, coaching, and providing knowledge transfer to team members.

  • Driving collaboration across teams to achieve project objectives.

  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing new simulation methodologies.

  • Supporting automation initiatives and encouraging continuous improvement practices.

  • Adapting to changing customer and business requirements and supporting shift-based operations when required.

  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, ethics, and organizational values.

If you have/are:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • 6–10 years of experience in Automotive, Auto Ancillary, or Engineering Services industries.

  • Experience in Automotive Safety simulations.

  • Strong expertise in HyperMesh and LS-DYNA.

  • Working knowledge of Primer and LS-Post.

  • Knowledge of NCAPS and system model setup.

  • Programming and automation skills (preferred).

  • Experience in Human Body Model (HBM) simulations (added advantage).

  • Product knowledge of seatbelts and airbags, including their functionality and application (desirable).

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • A leadership mindset with the ability to mentor and develop team members.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.

  • A proactive approach to learning new tools, methods, and technologies.

  • Self-confidence, accountability, and strong teamwork capabilities.
