Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.

Software & Information Platforms manages the technical configuration, design, administration, development, implementation and support of application and information frameworks that the organization's application solutions utilize. This job family partners with Application Development & Maintenance teams and other Information Technology function teams to identify enhancements for platforms and long-term capabilities.

We are looking for a Senior SAP BTP Administrator to architect, govern, and optimize our enterprise SAP cloud landscape. In this role, you will lead the strategic deployment of SAP Business Technology Platform services, ensure high availability, and enforce robust security frameworks across our global accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Work as an SAP Technology SME as part of SAP Basis Hana and BTP administration team.
  • BTP Account & Subaccount Management, Entitlement & Quota Management, Destinations Management, User & Authorization Management, Directory Management, Region Selection, Global Account Administration Management, DevOps, Performance troubleshooting of BTP Services and applications deployed, Daily administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning of complex BTP Services
  • SAP BTP Hierarchical Account Model, BTP Use Case Scenarios, Runtime Environment Selection, Region & Infrastructure Layer Design, Subaccount Staging Model, Irreversibility Awareness, Development of standards and procedures, Entitlement planning of SAP BTP Services.
  • Provide expertise related to BTP – S/4 Integration, Integration Suite & integration performance, HA/DR on BTP, and scalability including planning, installation, and maintenance of SAP BTP Services.
  • Monitoring both ad-hoc tools and automated scripts or procedures, Support/recommend reporting, query and analysis tools ensuring efficient SAP BTP Token including AI Token utilization, Diagnosis of problems and resolution for BTP Integration & BTP Services, SAP system performance monitoring, alerting (using Cloud ALM on BTP.) and tuning to meet business KPIs
  • Working closely with SAP application teams and other Infrastructure teams, Interface with developers and modelers for performance and BTP data access requirements, Stay current with SAP BTP (BAIP) technology developments and techniques, research new services and tools, proactively recommend improvements, Evaluation and utilization of new BTP services to assist in the management of SAP ecosystem
  • BTP Global account, Subaccount Roles, Role Collections design and mapping with IAS Groups, AI/Joule Security, Agent Identity and Kill switches
  • Creates and maintains accurate documentation including troubleshooting resolutions.
  • Demonstrates and apply technical knowledge of software development frameworks and business process configuration systems. Examples include (not limited to) BTP Services, integration and information systems, business process management and development frameworks.
  • Leverages fluency in BTP technical architecture design, integrations on BTP and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of BTP Architecture, Cloud connector, subaccount management and interoperability including (but not limited to) Cloud infrastructure, network (application routing) and runtime platforms on BTP.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of system information dependencies and end to end application transaction competency.
  • Maintains BTP Services and availability requirements including HA/DR for BTP Services.
  • Resolves support issues involving deployed BTP Services.
  • Partners with Enterprise Architecture teams for BTP product & services selection, product capability roadmaps and information governance processes.
  • Monitors and manages proactive maintenance to deployed CAP/RAP/ BTP platform environments.
  • Documents and manages SOPs for software and information platform systems.
  • Interfaces with business solution teams and partners on BTP platform events as well as solution design needs.

Qualifications

  • 3 years working with SAP BTP along with 10+ years in SAP Basis or enterprise cloud platform administration preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology preferred, or equivalent professional experience preferred.
  • Hands-on knowledge of BTP Service deployment, Cloud Foundry spaces, BTP cockpit capabilities, destination configurations, AI Services on BTP, CI/CD pipelines.
  • Infrastructure as a code via Terraform (Preferred), BTP CLI (Preferred), Cloud Foundry CLI preferred
  • Familiarity with identity management (IAS/IPS), security protocols, and zero-trust architecture preferred
  • Familiarity with BTP AI offerings including AIcore/AI Launchpad, AI A2A Protocols, Joule, J4D, J4C preferred
  • Deep operational knowledge of Cloud Foundry and Kyma (Kubernetes) environments.
  • Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite, API Management, Destination configurations, and Event Mesh preferred
  • Strong command of OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0, SSL/TLS certificates, and network security protocols including Zero-trust architecture, AI Agent Security among others.
  • SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP BTP Provisioning and Administration preferred.

Anticipated salary range: $125,300.00 - $178,900.00
