Tato role vyžaduje tvorbu a zpřesňování softwarových požadavků, softwarové architektury, detailního konceptu a samotného softwaru.

Senior softwarový inženýr úzce spolupracuje s ostatními rolemi v týmu, aby bylo zajištěno sladění softwarového návrhu se specifikovanými požadavky. Podporuje další funkce a procesy.

Senior softwarový inženýr je zodpovědný za testování, verifikaci a validaci s cílem zajistit evidenci, že navržený software splňuje zadání.

Senior softwarový inženýr poskytuje podporu softwarovým inženýrům v oblasti softwarového designu, verifikace, validace a technické odbornosti.

Senior softwarový inženýr může vykonávat v projektu různé role:

• Je zodpovědný za návrh SW architektury a SW designu dle požadavků projektu a za udržování projektové dokumentace.
• Je zodpovědný za návrh a podporu testů pro validaci a verifikaci navrhovaného SW a za dokumentaci procesu testování.
• Spolupracuje s celým projektovým týmem na návrhu celého systému a zapracovává interni požadavky do SW designu.
• Podílí se na schalování změn v projektu a na návrhu a úpravě firemních procesů.
• Pracuje zcela nezávisle. Nevyžaduje vedení ani dohled seniornějšího kolegy/ vedoucího.
• Zcela samostatně a nezávisle komunikuje se zákazníkem.

Výhodou je znalost softwaru Stellantis a VW group.
