A Day in the Life:

Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate seat development activities with suppliers.
Ensure compliance with Nissan design requirements.
Perform root cause analysis and develop countermeasures for engineering issues.
Support sourcing activities, technical documentation, and cost target alignment.
Lead or support digital development and DV/PV validation plans.
Support Global One Team initiatives and Total Delivery Cost (TdC) activities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
5+ years of professional engineering experience.
Strong CAD and GD&T proficiency.
Proactive, innovative, and self-motivated mindset.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to travel approximately 10%.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with DVP&R, DFMEA, BOMs, engineering specifications, and change notices.
Automotive seating design and subsystem ownership experience.
Knowledge of occupant safety requirements (FMVSS, ECE, sled testing, whiplash, load-path design).
Expertise in seat comfort systems such as lumbar support, massage, ventilation, heating, bolsters, and mechatronic integration.
