The Role:

The Quality Engineering (QE) role is dynamic and cross-functional. QE’s interact at multiple levels and with multiple contact points within the Customer, Entegris and Supplier organizations. This role is high impact, high output and high visibility that requires a calm-assertive demeanor and capability to manage multiple ever-changing priorities. 品質エンジニア（QualityEngineer）は、部門を越えて活躍するポジションです。

顧客をはじめ、インテグリス社内の各部門、さらにはサプライヤーなど、さまざまな立場・階層の関係者と連携しながら業務を進めます。

In this role you will:

• Execute QE responsibilities as defined by the QE Policy documents, Entegris business processes, account specific support plan and as led by QE management.

• Participate in varying levels of engagement with customers and company teams on Problem Solving, Change Management, Customer’s Document reviewing, VOC for NPI process managing and Internal Audits, Product Support and Development Programs as well as many other cross-functional tasks and projects that are aligned with Entegris and Customer goals.

• Be part of a global teamto succeedwith our customers.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams at varying levels and varying degrees of complexity across a vast range of products, regions and companies. (customers and suppliers).

• Demonstrate excellence in planning, execution, discipline, learning, leadership, and teamwork (exemplify Entegris PACE values)

• Provide support for various documentation expectations such as business process documents, item tracking, performance reporting and continuous improvement project management.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:

• Basic understanding of quality assurance and quality control concepts

• Completion of a technical college or higher education in chemistry, mechanical engineering, electrical/electronic engineering, or a related technical field (Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred)

• Engineering experience in quality, process, equipment, or materials within the manufacturing industry (experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus)
  (Experience in any of the following is an advantage: PVD/CVD, CMP, photolithography, etching, or ion implantation)

• Experience in project and issue management within internal teams or with customers
  (Project management experience focusing on escalation management and gap closure)

• Experience using quality tools such as Pareto analysis, FMEA, SPC, histograms, trend analysis, process mapping, Design of Experiments (DOE), cause-and-effect diagrams, and 8D problem-solving methodology

• Experience collaborating with colleagues, customers, and suppliers through virtual meetings in remote or work-from-home environments is a plus

• Verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English

• Flexibility to work non-standard hours or shifts as needed to support operations across North America and Asia

• Experience communicating with overseas sites or customers is a plus

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)

• Experience with statistical software such as Minitab or JMP is a plus

• 品質保証・品質管理の基本概念を理解していること

• 化学、機械、電気／電子工学、または関連する技術分野における高等専門学校卒以上（学士号以上歓迎）

• 製造業における品質、プロセス、設備、材料分野でのエンジニア経験（半導体業界であれば尚可）
  （PVD／CVD、CMP、フォト、エッチング、イオン注入のいずれかの経験があれば尚可）

• 社内または顧客間での課題・プロジェクト管理経験
  （エスカレーション管理およびギャップクローズに焦点を当てたプロジェクト管理経験）

• パレート分析、FMEA、SPC、ヒストグラム、トレンド分析、プロセスマッピング、実験計画法（DOE）、特性要因図、8D問題解決手法などの品質ツールの使用経験

• 在宅勤務やリモート環境下で、同僚・顧客・サプライヤーとバーチャル会議を通じて協働した経験があれば尚可

• 日本語および英語での口頭コミュニケーション能力

• 北米およびアジアをカバーする業務範囲に対応するため、必要に応じて非標準時間帯やシフト勤務に柔軟に対応できること

• 海外拠点や顧客とのコミュニケーション経験があれば尚可

• 必要に応じた国内外出張が可能であること

• MS Office（Outlook、Excel、Word、PowerPoint、Project）の高度な操作スキル

• MinitabやJMPといった統計ソフトの操作スキルあれば尚可
