Acciona Energy India is currently looking for Engineer/ Senior Engineer Electrical for Operation and Maintenance Dept at PV plant in Rajasthan.

Operate, supervise, and perform technical maintenance of energy facilities, ensuring operational continuity and efficiency, managing breakdowns and emergencies, and coordinating the work of external contractors to ensure compliance with technical and safety standards. RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise and control the daily operation of plants, ensuring the proper functioning of equipment. Inspect key points of the installation and equipment, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks. Detect and resolve technical failures in the plant, managing emergencies and coordinating the operational response. Coordinate and supervise the work of external suppliers and contractors, reviewing service quality and compliance with safety standards. Prepare reports and records of coordination of tasks performed by contractors. Maintain complete technical knowledge about the operation and maintenance of each key component of the plant. Use maintenance management systems (CMMS) and computer tools to plan and track tasks. Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with the safety and quality standards established by the company.

1. Should handle CTU on daily operation for energy monitoring, outage process and other queries.

2. Exercise “ 100% Safe work practice “in PV plant, TL line and substation and immediate reporting in case of any deviations to site manager

3. Having knowledge about Substation, PV plant SCADA and its operations.

4. Having good knowledge about high voltage operations and outage process with PGCIL line bays.

5. Having operational expertise with PGCIL outage process with ISTS connectivity

6. Must be having experience in preparing the MIS at all regular intervals according to Company’s requirement.

7. Regular co ordination with O&M contractors- PV plant, Line, Robotic and others to meet the KPI

8. Ware house monitoring and provide weekly update on spares consumption by the contractor and replenishment plan

9. 220KV Line maintenance and monitoring and co ordnation with line sharing parties

10. Support site manager Sending MIS to office regular basis weekly, monthly, bi-annually, annually

11. Complete plant monitoring for Safety and keep full track of incidents, safety walk, safety observations and closing them properly with required procedures

12. Training new team of people on safety and O&M from subcontractor to meet our safety standards

13. Co ordination with PGCIL time to time and provide necessary data to them whenever required in consultation with Site manager, Head O&M

14. Handling of all Acciona web tools and updating them regularly

15. Co ordinate with site manager for OPEX control and having co ordination with H.O for reporting them regularly.

16. Awareness on Quality Management System and Awareness on Environment Management System is required.

17. This position is induvial contributor role and doesnot have any reportees.

18. This position doesnot have authority for approvals.

19. This position is accountable for above mentioned job description.

20. Technical competency required for this position is SCADA and its operations, handle CTU and independently handle solar plant and managing contract employees at site.

21. Behaviour competency – leadership, problem solving, team work, innovation.

22. This position is also required to closely work with other departments as an when required.

Required Skills and Competencies

BE/B.Tech/Mechanical Engineer.

Years of Experience required is 07 to 10 in the field of operations and Maintenance of solar plant .

Excellent communication skills and knowledge of English
