Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Design of Commercial vehicle Electric powertrain (including Motor, Inverter, Reducer, e-axle)
2. Hands on experience on EV vehicle.
3. Support to Proto team, validation team, suppliers and manufacturing for component specifications, definition and validation.
4. Provide technical support and system analysis for root cause analysis of interface issues

5.Coordinate, lead and participate in design reviews

6.Expertise in the following areas: Motor characteristics and sizing, inverter characteristics and fuctions, DTC and its reactions, EV Reducer and EV axle design considerations and sizing.

1. To suggest improvements with respect to product improvement, cost reduction etc

Qualifications

B.E , B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech in Electrical and Electronics /Electronics and communications/ Electrical and Instrumentation engineering

Functional Skills

1. Strong Knowledge in electric Power Train Requirement and Architecture design
2. Good Knowledge on the Automotive product development lifecycle is an added advantage
3. Good Knowledge in Automotive Embedded System Hardware and Software Product development.
4. Good Knowledge on Automotive Communication Networks CAN, LIN
