BMS Post Silicon and System Validation Engineer

Join our Automotive Battery Management Systems (BMS) engineering team as a Post Silicon and System Validation Engineer In this role, you’ll be responsible for executing the silicon and system validation activities for our next generation of high-performance product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Understand the product requirements, develop and execute the BMS IC validation plan
Apply the domain knowledge of BMS systems and customer insights into product validation plan development and execution.
Design and build custom test hardware to evaluate battery management systems products.
Debug and resolve system issues with cross functional team from design, test, and applications.
Collaborate in a dynamic team environment to learn and deploy best practices in application development
Mentor and guide junior engineers, supporting their technical growth, reviewing validation approaches, and promoting best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
3–6 years of industrial experience in post-silicon validation, systems, or applications engineering
Strong hardware background with hands-on analog and digital circuit validation, debug, and component-level troubleshooting
Solid understanding of analog/digital fundamentals, power electronics, and signal integrity
Proven experience debugging low-level interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, PWM, GPIO, ADC/DAC)
Proficiency in hardware design and PCB layout
Hands-on programming experience in Python and Embedded C on microcontrollers
Experience in embedded firmware development and testing (drivers, frameworks, applications, optimization)
Experience creating test plans, test environments, and executing silicon/system-level validation
Proficient with test and measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, etc.)
Experience with requirements and documentation tools (Jira, Jama, Confluence, or similar)
Self-motivated, quick learner with strong analytical, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills
Proven experience in data analysis and producing clear, thorough technical documentation.
Demonstrated ability to independently own, drive, and deliver complex validation tasks to completion delivering high-quality results under demanding project timelines.
Preferred (Nice to Have):
Experience with Battery Management System (BMS) architectures: cell monitoring ICs, balancing mechanisms, battery safety systems, system integration.
Hands-on experience validating high‑speed interfaces (e.g., Ethernet, USB, MIPI)
Knowledge of signal processing; LTspice/MATLAB experience preferred
Understanding of SDLC and configuration management tools (e.g., Git)
Familiarity with automotive HW/SW processes
ISO 26262 functional safety knowledge preferred
