We are currently hiring a
Senior Engineer – Procurement
for
a leading engineering and infrastructure organization in the United Arab
Emirates.

This role is ideal for procurement professionals with strong technical
engineering knowledge and hands-on experience in infrastructure, utilities,
power, energy, or large-scale construction projects within the UAE or GCC
region.

Role Overview

The Senior Engineer – Procurement will be responsible for managing
end-to-end procurement activities for engineering materials, equipment, and
technical services. The role requires close coordination with engineering,
project management, and commercial teams to ensure timely and cost-effective
project delivery.

This position plays a critical role in supporting major infrastructure and
utility projects across the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

Manage procurement processes for engineering
materials, MEP systems, mechanical and electrical equipment

·
Review technical specifications, drawings, BOQs,
and project requirements

·
Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs in line with UAE
procurement standards

·
Conduct technical and commercial bid evaluations

·
Lead supplier negotiations to secure competitive
pricing and favorable contract terms

·
Ensure compliance with UAE regulations,
procurement policies, and contractual requirements

·
Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely
material delivery

·
Monitor supplier performance and manage vendor
relationships

·
Support contract administration, variations, and
claims management

  Maintain procurement documentation and reporting
  systems

Requirements

Qualifications

·
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical,
Civil Engineering, or related discipline

·
Professional certifications in procurement or
supply chain (preferred)

Experience Required

·
8–12 years of procurement experience in UAE or
GCC

·
Strong background in infrastructure, utilities,
power, water, oil & gas, or construction sectors

·
Experience handling technical procurement for
large-scale projects

·
Proven expertise in vendor management and
contract negotiation

·
Familiarity with UAE market suppliers and procurement
regulations
