Prime Objective
Senior Process Engineer with expertise in designing, optimizing, and managing industrial and municipal wastewater treatment and recycle systems. Proven track record in developing innovative, optimised and robust treatment solutions. Skilled in process optimization, troubleshooting complex operational challenges, and implementing advanced technologies to enhance treatment efficiency and sustainability. Demonstrates strong technical leadership and commitment to delivering cost-effective, environmentally responsible wastewater management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Read and analyze the tender document/project specification and understand the client requirement.
Develop process schemes and calculations for waste water plants for municipal and industrial projects.
Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), mass balances, specific power consumption calculations, and equipment sizing .
Provide expert technical field support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis during the startup, commissioning, and performance testing of wastewater plants.
Lead basic engineering process, participate in technical peer risk reviews, and facilitate HAZOP studies with internal teams and external customers.
Develop process designs and experimental programs for water and wastewater pilots, including startup, troubleshooting, and report preparation.
Assist Commercial Engineering and Sales teams in strategic positioning, developing winning bid strategies, and conducting sales calls with clients and consultants
Document lessons learned from operating plants, assure proper documentation of technical data generated, and prepare invention disclosures to protect competitive technologies
Coordinating with a global team for process validation for complex projects.

Qualification, Skills & Experience
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering from an accredited university.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in process design of wastewater treatment and recycle systems. Commissioning experience will be an added advantage.
Strong background and technical skills in designing of Sewage Treatment Plant, Industrial Wastewater Treatment and recycle plant.
Well versed with MBBR and MBR technology.
Familiarity with conventional treatment unit operations (sand filtration, DAF, clarification, coagulation, biological treatment) and proficiency with RO projection software for major brands.
Candidates with specialized knowledge in oil and gas sector wastewater treatment will be prioritized.
Experience with Regional projects and a strong understanding of regional water and wastewater reuse markets.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneoulsy.
Excellent quantitative, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in English (verbal and written) language.
Willingness to travel to project sites and if required to other countries also.
