We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Library Engineer to lead the development, governance, standardization, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide ECAD libraries supporting multiple global businesses and product lines. This role serves as the technical authority and single point of contact (SPOC) for global stakeholders, driving component library strategy, database governance, lifecycle management, and quality assurance across the organization. The successful candidate will lead from the front by providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers, establishing best practices, and driving accountability for library quality, compliance, and delivery commitments. The role carries end-to-end ownership of component database creation, validation, release, maintenance, configuration management, and governance, ensuring data accuracy, traceability, reusability, manufacturability, and compliance with IPC and enterprise standards while protecting product quality, program schedules, and business objectives through robust library processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
"• Define and drive the Library strategy, governance and technology roadmap across global businesses.
• Serve as the technical authority and final approver for library standards, quality, compliance, and release readiness.
• Own global component database architecture, standardization, lifecycle management, and configuration control.
• Lead enterprise-wide library migrations, digital transformation, automation, and process improvement initiatives.
• Drive component standardization, preferred-part strategies, obsolescence management, and supply-chain risk mitigation.
• Establish and govern KPIs for library quality, data integrity, compliance, turnaround time, and design reuse.
• Lead cross-functional teams across PCB Design, Hardware, Manufacturing, Quality, Component Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure global alignment.
• Mentor engineers, develop organizational capability, and institutionalize best practices across the enterprise.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for critical library, design, manufacturing, and field issues.
• Champion Zero-Defect Library Delivery, ensuring accuracy, manufacturability, compliance, and reusability across all released content.

Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics / Electronics and Communication / Electrical Engineering.
• Total relevant work experience: 10+ years.

• Hands-on experience in Altium (Must) / Allegro (Capture, PCB editor), Xpedition or equivalent Layout and Capture tool.
• Prior experience in database creation from scratch is must
• Lead library migration and consolidation activities across multiple ECAD platforms."
"Required:
•Sound knowledge of electrical & electronic components – Surface Mount & through Hole, custom parts.
•Hands-on experience in library database creation, management, Parts, Symbols & footprints creation.
•Ability to interpret component datasheets, package drawings, JEDEC specs
•Sound knowledge of IPC Standards like IPC2221A, IPC7351, IPC-6012, IPC-A-610 ,IPC-SM-782, UL and MIL.
•Awareness of DFA guiedlines, CIS / CIP database, DBLIB, MDB, SVN,ENOVIA,PLM tool or equivalant library management and version control tools.
Desired:
• Added advantage: PCB design & Schematic drafting.
Special:
•Experience with PCB manufacturing process (Design for Manufacturing, assembly and testing) and validation of Gerbers using CAM350.
•Good knowledge of PCB design guidelines for EMI / EMC aspects, some exposure on hardware testing
•Hands on experience with high speed board designs, Signal Integrity & Power Integrity analysis using Ansys or equivalent tool.
