Job Title:
Senior Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering
The Role:
Responsible for Slurry HVM (high volume manufacturing) process,includingSOP review & creation, process improvement andmaintainproduct quality with statistics tools, etc.
Provide support to the operations and quality groups for troubleshooting, continuous improvement, process control, and management of changes
A capital project leader to meet NPI (new product introduction) development scheduling and sample supply timeline
Develop and implement state-of-art technologies in manufacturing to improve product cost,qualityand consistency.
In this role you will:
Lead SPC review for issue solving and qualitycontrol.
Drive continuous improvement of cost and quality in the existing manufacturing process and enhance final product quality through quick and efficient responsiveness and troubleshooting related to performance issues
Fully support the NPI sample delivery and the SVM (small volume manufacturing)/NPI transition to HVM on schedule
Lead (capital) projects for safety,processand productivityimprovementJoin the project team of newproductand new process introduction, and coordinate with manufacturing,qualityand related functions to achieve the business goal.
Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
Bachelor’s degree or above is preferred,majoringin chemical engineering related is preferred or chemicals profession
Expertisein SPC(statistical process control), 6sigmamethodologyandbigdataanalysis Ability to focus and summarize complex data sets towards key decision points and actions.
Experience with process control methodologies used in continuous or batch chemical operations.
Experience with leading capitalproject, process design and constructionis a plus
Ability ofcommunication(listening, speaking,readingand writing)in English
