THE ROLE

We are seeking asenior manufacturing engineer todrive the design, development, and optimization of advanced automation systemsand further develop key manufacturing process technologyfor fluid management production linesinMunmak, Korea, supporting the Advanced Purity Solutions Division.

This role requires a strong technical background and hands-on experience toensuresmooth production operations,optimizemanufacturing systems, and drivecontinuousimprovement initiatives.

You will partner closely with cross-functional to standardize automation platforms, accelerate deployment of strategic initiatives, and strengthen overall manufacturing performance.

WhatYou’llDo

• Develop,implementandoptimizemanufacturingprocessto ensure maximum efficiency and productivity

• Leadcontinuous improvementprojectfocused on boosting productivity and reducing scrap to achieve plant KPIs.

• Providedata driven insights for manufacturing decisions andrisk basedsolutions to minimize production issues and meet on time shipment (OTS)

• Create andmaintainmanufacturing methods for all activities, ensuring accuracy and precision in line with engineering specifications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams toidentifyareas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance manufacturing capabilities.

• Conduct regular assessments of production equipment and recommend necessary upgrades or modifications to improve overall performance or increase capacity.

• Analyze manufacturing data toidentifytrends, address issues, and develop proactive strategies formaintainingquality standards.

• Lead FMEA development and updates for assigned manufacturing processes to ensureaccurateriskevaluationand mitigation.

• Document andmaintainwork instructions reflecting the established process.

• Utilize statistical tools to make data-driven decisions.

• Maintain master dataup to date, including but not limited to routing, scrap factors, standard cost, work center, etc.

• Analyze existing capacity and future demand. Proposeadditionalequipment if necessary

• Provide technical support,trainingand guidance to production teams to resolve anyproblem andensuresmooth workflow.

• Stay updated with latestadvancementsinour technology andindustry andbest practices to continually improve manufacturing processes.

• Work closely with design engineering to provide input during the product development stage,ensuringmanufacturabilityand cost-effectiveness.

• Work closely with production leads and supervisors, quality engineers,vendors and other Entegris plants to solve manufacturing issues.

What We Seek: 

• Minimum of 8 years in engineering manufacturing.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineeringor related field, or equivalent hands-on industry experience.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiencyin CAD softwareand experience in creating or reviewingthe drawings

• Strong knowledge ofautomatedsystemswith a demonstrated ability tooptimizeprocesses for improved efficiency.

• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six sigma methodologies ispreferred

• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams to achieve commongoals

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaininghigh qualitystandards in all manufacturing processes.

Outstanding candidates will have:

• Knowledge of data analytics for smart manufacturing.

• Experience withignitionsoftware development andintegration

• Exposure tocleanroom automation and high precisionassembly processes.

• Proventrack recordof leading large-scale automation projects.

• Ability to influence automation strategy and drive continuous improvement.

• Strong Englishlanguageskills.
