Position:

Senior Engineer (Level 1)

Hardware Design

Designation –Senior Engineer Level 2

Year of experience – 6-8 Years

Work Location – Ahmedabad

Principal Accountabilities:

Develop requirement definition aligned with the customer
Test, verification, characterization and documentation according procedures and standards
Responsible for managing time estimation of design activities
Hardware support for any new development and improving the existing designs and new ones.
Deriving H/W design requirements from EMI, EMC, Safety & Automotive EMC/Transients test standards
Performing, optimizing & resolving the failures of EMI, EMC, Automotive EMC/Transient measurements and duration of tests as specified in the measurement requirement.
Drafting schematic and layout in an accurate way
Monitoring and maintaining the safety, quality and safety of products and writing tests and development documentation.
Preparing BOM(Bill of material) in the most efficient way

Job Complexity:

Incumbent generally works under broad supervision and has ability to solve complex problems arising during the flow of work
Incumbent can work on complex concepts and implementation
Incumbent has extensive knowledge and experience in own discipline, possesses strong knowledge of the organization, processes and customers, solves a range of complex problems, and analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures.
Limited guidance and direction is provided.

Required Technical Skills:

Experience on all stages of Product Development Lifecycle with High Speed and Mixed Speed Board Design experience.
Working experience in hardware design of Micro-Processors: TI, Freescale, NXP, Qualcomm, Ambarella, STM.
Memories: DDR2/3/4/5, LPDDR2/3/4/5, eMMC Flash
Interfaces: Ethernet, SATA, MIPI DSI/CSI, Gig Ethernet, HDMI
High Speed Board designing, Multi-layer Board design, Signal integrity & Power Integrity Simulation, Board Bring up, EDVT Testing.
Exposure working in both: Digital Design & Analog Design
Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), Electrical Safety, Automotive EMC compliance testing experience
Lab instruments like Multi- meters, Oscilloscope, Function Generator, Logic analyzer etc.

Education:

B.E/M.E , B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent
