You will develop and maintain robust evidence of compliance, support formal acceptance activities, and provide assurance that solutions meet agreed technical, regulatory, and performance requirements. You will work closely with stakeholders at various levels to enable successful customer acceptance and project delivery.Core Duties:Manage and maintain evidence demonstrating compliance with all Legal & Regulatory (L&R) obligations across the projectMaintain and update records of applicable legislation, regulations, standards, and designated L&R ownersAct as a key liaison between the project, Governance team, and Customer to manage regulatory changes and compliance informationSupport requirements management activities, ensuring compliance, traceability, acceptance criteria, evidence, and customer approvals are effectively controlledEngage with customers, suppliers, and project teams to resolve engineering issues, make decisions within delegated authority, and maintain professional competence through ongoing developmentEssential Skills:You will have an academic qualification in a STEM related subject, and ability/willingness to become recognised as Incorporated or Chartered Engineer through an appropriate recognised professional institutionYou will have good knowledge and understanding of Legal & Regulatory complianceYou will have a good understanding of the engineering lifecycleYou will have competence and capability with requirements capture and management software tools e.g. the Rationale software tools such as DOORSYou will have good verbal and written communication skillsThe Requirements & Acceptance team:The Requirements & Acceptance team is customer facing, working to secure customer acceptance for all requirements and legal compliance relating to the T26 Frigate. This role will provide opportunities to be involved with all areas of the programme at an exciting period of the Project as equipment is installed on ship and is set to work in preparation for harbour and sea trials, leading to Vessel Acceptance and handover to the customer.
