The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in Power BI, DAX, and semantic data modeling, with a strong focus on metric accuracy, usability, and security at scale. This role acts as a key bridge between business stakeholders and the underlying data platform, ensuring analytics solutions are both technically sound and commercially meaningful.

  • Optimize Power BI models for large datasets, high user concurrency, and fast report performance

Security & Governance

  • Design and manage Row‑Level Security (RLS) models that scale across regions and user groups.
  • Ensure secure, centrally managed access to analytics without reliance on manual workspace‑level administration.
  • Support dataset certification, endorsement, and governed reuse across the organization.

Business Partnership & Enablement

  • Work closely with the Global Commercial Analytics team and commercial stakeholders to translate business requirements into clear analytical logic
  • Challenge and refine requirements to ensure clarity, consistency, and scalability.
  • Clearly communicate complex analytical concepts to non‑technical audiences, building trust in the numbers.
  • Support the development of standardized metrics, definitions, and reporting approaches across regions.

Standards & Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to analytics best practices, documentation, and design standards.
  • Act as a role model for high‑quality Power BI development and semantic modeling.

Required Skills & Experience

Core Requirements

  • Strong hands‑on experience with Power BI in a production, enterprise environment
  • Expert‑level DAX skills, including performance optimization and complex calculation logic.
  • Proven experience implementing RLS at scale.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling principles and analytical design patterns.
  • Experience partnering directly with business stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and non‑technical audiences.

Desirable / Bonus Skills

  • Experience with Power Apps or embedding analytics into business processes.
  • Exposure to AI‑assisted analytics, Copilot, or predictive use cases.
  • Experience working in a global or matrixed organization
  • INTERNAL: Experience of internal data lakes (IAP, UDM, EUDM etc), table relationships, business needs etc

What Success Looks Like

  • Power BI reports are intuitive, trusted, and performant.
  • Business users understand the metrics and use them confidently.
  • Security is robust, scalable, and easy to manage.
  • Analytics is viewed as a strategic business partner, not just a reporting function.
