Job Title: Senior Engineer/ Engineering Manager

About Joseph Gallagher Limited: Joseph Gallagher Limited is an industry leader in civil engineering, known for our expertise in delivering complex projects with innovative solutions. We are expanding our team and looking for a skilled International Engineering Manager to oversee our tunnelling projects across the Middle East and the UK.

The Role: As Senior Engineer/ Engineering Manager, you will oversee our TBM works and lead on engineering aspects. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our project capabilities. You will also assist with proposal development and submission. This role is pivotal in managing project delivery, ensuring safety and efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and direct the engineering aspects of TBM operations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project compliance with technical specifications, safety standards and cost efficient delivery.
• Lead project planning, resource allocation, and execution to meet or exceed project deliverables.
• Serve as the primary technical advisor for tunnelling and underground construction projects.
• Facilitate communication between project sites and headquarters, ensuring timely and accurate project updates.
• Aligning Health and Safety to country working in as well as UK standard to be always above the requirement to strive for excellence.
• Leading and supporting our behavior safety programme LIFE.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in tunnelling, particularly in TBM works.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work with and manage international teams of up to 39 different nationalities.
• Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent professional qualification.
