Job Description

We are seeking a Embedded Linux Software Engineer with experience in Embedded Linux software development for IoT products along with system validation and testing. The candidate will be responsible for developing Embedded Linux applications and features for IoT devices and gateways, integrating Zigbee/BLE solutions, performing system validation, protocol analysis, debugging, and ensuring product quality across device, gateway, cloud, and mobile ecosystems. The role also includes developing or using virtual device simulators (such as Zephyr, QEMU, or similar platforms) for application development and testing before hardware availability.

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test reports for Linux and IoT products.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, interoperability, and system-level testing.
• Validate communication protocols such as MQTT, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, Zigbee, Matter, Thread, BLE, and Wi-Fi.
•Hands on experience in C or C++ programming.

• Hands-on experience in virtual device simulation, hardware emulation, and software-based testing environments to validate embedded firmware and IoT device functionality prior to hardware availability.
• Analyze network traffic and protocol behavior using tools such as Wireshark and packet sniffers.
• Validate device commissioning, provisioning, OTA firmware updates, and cloud connectivity.
• Perform end-to-end validation of device, gateway, cloud, and mobile application interactions.
• Develop Shell/Bash scripts for test automation, log collection, and validation activities.
• Investigate defects, perform root cause analysis, and work closely with development teams for issue resolution.
• Validate security features including authentication, encryption, certificate management, and secure communication.
• Participate in certification and compliance testing activities.
• Maintain test environments, automation frameworks, and validation setups.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
