Provide electrical and automation technical support to the factory daily operation, safety/quality improvements, establish systems for data collection and tracking, and support capital projects from the E&A field. Responsible for design, selection, costing, installation, testing, commissioning, startup… the hardware and software process control systems including associated instrumentation. Improve and maintaining all aspects related to Electricity, Automation, Process Control, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and the Factory Automation System (FAS) infrastructure, applications, and resources in the factory according to Nestle corporate strategies, standards, specifications and local codes and regulations in the market according and corporate strategies.
In alignment with Act 593(B), this position is considered safety sensitive as this employee provides technical support for the electrical and automation systems of the factory.

Reports to Sr Engineering Manager. Works with minimal supervision.
SUPERVISION GIVEN:
Does not directly supervise others, however, leading, coaching and mentoring is a primary expectation. Works closely with Multi-skilled Electrical Technicians, (MSE), providing training coaching and guidance, for the purpose of building the overall capability of the entire E&A group. Provides guidance and technical direction to Production Supervisors, Process Engineers, Mechanics, Operators, and others.
FINANCIAL/STRATEGIC IMPACT:
Impacts engineering projects and technical downtime through project assistance, operations daily support, providing training, and other job responsibilities.

3+ years controls/electrical engineering experience in manufacturing plant environment prefrerrably Food and Dairy industry
Experience with running small to medium sized projects, troubleshooting industrialprocess control systems (PLCs, component operator interfaces, and HMIs), and all aspects of electronics/electricity, powercontrol voltages, instrumentation, electro-pneumatic control devices, and Allen Bradley Variable Frequency Drives (VFD). Also, familiarity with Ethernet, DeviceNet, Rockwell Software RSLogix 55005000, ControlLogix PLC processors, and PanelView Plus. Additional experience with Siemens S5 or S7, Safety Circuits and Systems, PLC interfacing with Wonderware Application Server (ArchestrA)MES, and batch control systems. Experience with Power Distribution systems (8320V and below).
