The Opportunity

This newly created role has been established to support the continued growth of our Perth business. Working closely with our local team and broader national Electrical group, you'll deliver electrical building services projects across Western Australia while helping strengthen ACOR's presence in the local market.

Based in our new Perth CBD office, you will be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team delivering projects across Defence, Health, Government, Industrial and Commercial sectors. You'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers locally and nationally, contributing to technically challenging projects while continuing to develop your career.

You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to both local WA projects and nationally significant projects through ACOR's broader Electrical team, providing exposure to a diverse range of clients, sectors and technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of electrical building services projects from concept through to completion
  • Prepare and review engineering calculations, reports, specifications and technical documentation
  • Coordinate effectively with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams to achieve successful project outcomes
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting business development and growth initiatives

About You

  • Degree qualified Electrical Engineer with experience in a consulting environment
  • Proven experience delivering electrical building services projects across one or more of Defence, Health, Government, Industrial or Commercial sectors
  • Strong technical design capability and understanding of relevant Australian Standards and industry practices
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
  • CPEng, NER and/or RPEQ registration, or actively working towards chartership
